These prices are based on our tradesman’s rate of £150 per day and a labourer (if necessary) at £100 per day. They include any time spent collecting materials, dumping the waste and any incidental materials they will need.

Job 1
Lets assume the room is empty. This will take 2 men 2 days and the materials will be £200.
Call it ……..£725.00


Job 2
Lets assume all the furniture and carpets have to come out and replaced afterwards. They will do this but the carpet will need to be cut down and re laid by professional fitters. 3 days plus the fitters ……..£1025.00

Job 3
Whose painting it? If it’s him, with acrylic paint he can apply three coats in one day, so with the price of the paint, that’s an extra………..£190.00

We assume you are panelling up to about dado height, the room is “normal” size and there is a door, window and chimney breast. The panelling itself comprises vertical tongue and groove boards about 100 mm wide with a moulding on the top and a new skirting all round. The original skirt will be removed as the work proceeds.
