Information Sheet on Fitting Lino or Vinyl Flooring

You’ve come to the wrong shop mate! Builder’s won’t usually cut and lay
new flooring such as lino or carpets. They will obviously re lay a floor covering they’ve had to take up, in order to do a particular job under the floor, such as sorting out cables or whatever, its part of the process.

If you want
new flooring laid, ask the builder (if you’ve got one), to organise his carpet layer mate to turn up (we all know one), or go to that shed next to B&Q, spend 2 hours arguing about “berbers or cushionflor” and get them to organise the fitter turning up.

Have you ever noticed that the nice people in the “carpet sheds” always tell you to pay the fitter separately? That’s so that if he fouls up, they can wash their hands of the problem!
