Cost to Fit/Lay Decking
Based on our tradesman’s rate of £150 per day and a labourer at £100 per day.
(The minimum price will usually be for a half day).
Job 1
To deck over a 3m by 5m concrete slab/solid patio area.
This will take 2 men 2 days to lay joists/framing, dpc deck and edging
Price for labour and materials £600.00
Job 1a
To add a 5m fence to this along the front edge
An additional £350.00
Job 2
To deck over a 4m by 6m concrete slab/solid patio area.
This will take 2 men 2 days to lay joists/framing, dpc deck and edging
Price for labour and materials £700.00
Job 2a
To add a 6m fence to this along the front edge
An additional £400.00
Job 3
To deck over a 3m by 2m concrete slab/solid patio area.
This will take 2 men 1 days to lay joists/framing, dpc deck and edging
Price for labour and materials £470.00
Job 3a
To add a 3m fence to this along the front edge
An additional £110.00
Job 4
To deck over a 4m by 6m grass/mud area
This will take 2 men 2.5 days to lay stumps, bolt joists/framing, deck and edging. This will include the price of a skip to remove earth for leveling
Price for labour and materials £1100.00
Job 5
To deck over a 3m by 5m grass/mud area
This will take 2 men 2.5 days to lay stumps, bolt joists/framing, deck and edging. This will include the price of a skip to remove earth for leveling
Price for labour and materials £990.00
Job 6
To deck over a 3m by 2m grass/mud area
This will take 2 men 2 days to lay stumps, bolt joists/framing, deck and edging.
Price for labour and materials £790.00
